About Sol

“Hello and welcome to my website, your interest is much appreciated. The following is little about my background, inspiration and process...

Life began in Northern California in the 80’s, later growing up in Minnesota in the 90’s. Coming from a family with a diverse background racially and culturally, my artistic interests vary greatly as well. I have been an artist practically my whole life and am self taught in drawing and design. My Body Art Technician education began in 2012 and continued through 2014 at Hired Guns Tattoo Studio with the program under supervision by former HG artist and owner Oso, and mentored in business management by former HG owner Titi. Along with continued annual Blood Borne Pathogen education as well as certification and being licensed through the Minnesota Health Department, I have been tattooing in a professional setting since 2013.

With almost a decade of experience in the Tattoo Industry I use my insight to create art with the purpose of being cherished and enjoyed by all. My goal is to exceed the expectations of my clients through close collaborative efforts. Using my skills and vision to render your ideas into tangible works. I take on new concepts and challenges with enthusiasm, exploring fresh ideas and opportunities in order to produce new and unique creations.

It’s always great getting to meet with new faces and having the chance to pick their brains about the art they are dreaming up. After feeling like I have been provided with enough information from our converse, further independent research on the subject is done and the drafting process begins. After development has progressed into a streamlined concept, the artwork is shown to the client so the tattoo process can continue with the procedure being under way and ending with a beautiful new piece of art that will last a lifetime. Art and culture from all over the world, serve as a galvanizing force for an active imagination, traveling to new destinations never fails to fill my mind with an endless source of inspiration. I like to carry over this mindset in aspects of my artistic process as I hope to be inspired by you in the future, when we take the journey of achieving your body art goals. Looking forward to working together”
